Welcome to ReflectiveMind. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

ReflectiveMind is a reflective journaling and personal-growth platform that lets you capture reflections, generate AI insights, create action plans, and track your progress. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Your Account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use ReflectiveMind.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of the reflections, insights, action plans, and other content you create ("Your Content").
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you.
  • You are solely responsible for Your Content and must not upload anything illegal, infringing, or harmful.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
  • Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
  • Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
  • Share your account with others or resell the service.

5. AI Features

Insights and suggestions generated by the app are produced by AI models and are for informational and reflective purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. Always seek qualified professional advice for important decisions.

6. Subscriptions, Trials and Payments

  • We may offer free, trial, and paid plans. Pricing and plan details are shown in the app and may change; existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at unless otherwise notified.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we need to stop offering the service. On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted after a short retention period (see Privacy Policy).

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReflectiveMind and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless a different jurisdiction is required by your local consumer-protection law.
